Leonardo Lili presents an in depth dialogue of contemporary art vs classical art. This century has seen the clash between two aesthetic languages, Lili’s focus, primarily is the tension between abstract and figurative art. He has decided to give shape to an artistic language that would reconcile the two artistic expressions in a single work of art, thus creating works with a strong inner contrast. It creates a balance by combining two irreconcilable opposites, providing ample reflections on how the opposites actually belong together, and would not exist without each other. A blend of traditional and cutting edge, rationality and havoc, he uses form and material that leaves the viewer with the possibility of being faced with a fragile juxtaposition, a perfect mix of fragility and strength. Leonardo Lili graduated with top marks and honors at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 2016.
