Vladimir Mukhin was born in 1971 in Kazakhstan. After training at the Penza Art School named after K. A. Savitsky. Mukhin, an aspiring artist, entered and successfully graduated from the famous Russian Academy of Painting Sculpture and Architecture.
Many critics consider Mukhin one of the best representatives of contemporary Russian art who proudly carries on the legacy of the great masters of the past.
