Bio:
Aaron Coberly was born in Seattle in 1971. When he was three years old his mother joined the infamous “Love Family” cult and he remained there until 1984. Upon leaving the Love Family, he began to attend school for the first time in the deep Suburban environs of Kirkland. It was quite a contrast to living in a tent in the North Cascade foothills. The most consistent aspect throughout Aaron’s early life was drawing. To improve himself, he became a protégé to an established artist and studied all aspects of painting, drawing and anatomy. His work is primarily figurative with a stylistic nod to the Masters and the Impressionists.
He has done illustrations for a variety of publications, including the late lamented “Rocket” (the Kurt Cobain cover was his), and “Movie Maker”, Aaron is a member of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters.
